FAQs

Q: Can anyone join TPG?
A: Yes as a standard member.
A. Not as a Professional Partner: We accept two professionals per discipline in a given service area.

Q. How do you know the professional members are reputable?
A. We have a membership team that vets each professional as a part of their application process, to ensure we are referring quality professionals to our members.

Q. What if a professional member receives referrals and does poor work?
A. Each professional is constantly evaluated to ensure they are meeting TPG standards through member surveys.

Q. What occupations benefit the most from networking?
A: All of them. Networking is about developing long-term relationships for mutual gain and creating a lasting impression with people so that they think of you positively when an opportunity arises. Once learned; networking is a life skill which has many applications. Most commonly, people use networking to develop new business or find a new job.

Q: Is participation in TPG prohibited due to the ethical rules that govern certain professions?
A: No. The P.E.E.R Group understands the importance of the ethical concerns governing certain professions and acknowledges that rules can differ by location. TPG requires its professionals to uphold the rules of their profession so as not to violate the professional’s ethical obligations. In the event that TPG general rules could potentially violate a professional’s ethical code, TPG’s rules are superseded by the rules of the professional’s ethics’ code.

Q: My profession does not let me directly solicit business. Is TPG still right for me?
A: Yes. Another primary objective of TPG is to assist its professional members with innovative ways to improve their business. We educate our professionals on how they can effectively network and provide events that allow members to meet other business peers and potential clients.
